Last week, Chatloop made headlines across prestigious publications, from The Times to Sky News, and from Manchester Evening News to The Sun. The reason for this media frenzy? Our recent achievement of being one of only nine third-party browsers worldwide to secure default browser status by Apple, and the sole browser of its kind to accomplish this feat. Naturally, this called for a well-deserved celebration, and we chose to revel in the heart of Manchester City Centre.
San Carlo Manchester
Our celebration kicked off at San Carlo, an upscale Italian restaurant that exudes luxury and elegance. Visited by celebrities such as Hulk Hogan, Liam Gallagher, and Michael Buble, the guests here are a testament to its exceptional service and offerings. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed with cocktails and prosecco before being taken over to our table. We tucked into our delicious starters and mains and discussed how far Chatloop has come in such a short space of time. Ramona
After we’d finished up at San Carlo, we ventured across to Ramona; only a stone's throw away from the Chatloop HQ. With a large outdoor seating area, it quickly cemented its place in the Manchester scene in 2020. Here you can find slices of pizza and sides that are a standard above the rest, but what we came for was the margaritas. With a selection of flavours and even a happy hour, it’s a great choice for drinks between friends.
Candle Making at Form
To wrap up the evening, we indulged in a private candle making class. This was a quieter setting to bars and restaurants, and really gave us the space to bond more as a team. Hosted at Form in the Northern Quarter, we were greeted by our knowledgeable host who guided us through the art of candle making, sharing insights about essential oils and natural scents. Using all-natural scents, we were then let free to decide on what concoction of smells we wanted to put together. It was a unique and engaging experience that we highly recommend to mix up your usual social outings.
