On April 26th, 2023, Chatloop, the world's first social browser, held its first private investor event at Everyman Cinema in Manchester. The purpose of the event was to provide valuable insights into Chatloop's recent developments, including the implementation of AI and the innovative use of data within the app, as well as how Chatloop has used its current investment, and how it plans to use future funding.
The evening began with an introduction from Andrew Barlow, CEO of Chatloop, who presented the unique value proposition of the platform. Barlow described Chatloop as "the world's first social browser, making every website in the world social." He went on to explain that Chatloop enables users to visit their favourite websites and spark conversations with anyone, giving conversations context.
We then had presentations from our following guest speakers:
- Jessica Kuka, VP Product
- James Hall, CTO Parallax
- Elliot Cordo, Data strategy lead
- Mick Style, OIP Lead
- Atheer Al-Salim, Head of Social at JD Sports
- Mark Barlow, Business Strategy Lead
- Charlotte Ashton, Raise Lead
The event was attended by a range of investors, tech enthusiasts, and company representatives. The attendees were impressed with Chatloop's unique approach to social media and the potential for the platform to change the way people connect online.
Following on from the event, any investment received will help fund the future of Chatloop. Having already exceeded our initial goal of £1million, this extra investment will help expand our user base and help continue to develop the app's features, including the integration of AI technology, and creating a more personalised and customisable experience.
